Over the past 20 years, I've built PCs, repaired them, networked them,
taught courses about them, installed software on them, removed it later,
chased unusual problems in them, upgraded them,
scrapped them and, most of the time, had a healthy working relationship
with PCs.
In general - but certainly not always. There are some notable
exceptions, such as the Targa video editing project.
Depending on your point of view, some of these are successes and some
are failures. In every case, they've been "learning
experiences." And you know what that means.
